Dear , William, Pete, and Jennifer, I am so sadden to hear of your Mom's passing , as I just found out. This is Marion, Joe and Louise Laanni's daughter from RI I remember all the great times with the partys at your Grandfather and Grandmothers Club HOuse in Oneco. Then they moved to Oneco in the log home, which I loved. The gardening, mushrooming and all fun times of them and your Mom and Dad coming to RI and going quahogging on my Dad's boat. I now live in Danielson and see that you live in Dayville...will try to be in touch. Sincerely, Marion

Jennifer, I am so sad to hear about your mother's passing. Mary Anne worked with me at Killingly Central School for many years. She was admired by her colleagues for her dedication, professionalism, and expertise in instruction. I was delighted to work across the hall from her while teaching third grade because she was not only my coworker, but became a friend and a mentor. She was so organized in her classroom and loved her students. I remember that Mary Anne had a great sense of humor and I recall that she loved feeding and watching the birds at her home. It is so hard to lose your mom, but I'm sure that you and the grandchildren will have so many great memories of such a kind and loving person. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
