Obituary of Barbara Ann Duplissa

Barbara Ann (Ashe) Duplissa, 80 of Dayville, CT And formally of Vernon, CT passed away June 30, 2020 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT. Born August 30, 1939 in Old Town, ME, daughter to the late Jerome and Ella (Morin) Ashe. Beloved wife of Adolph J. Duplissa they were married October 7, 1961 in Orono, Maine.

Barbara enjoyed panting, jewelry making and most recently watching August, her great granddaughter, this past year. Taking care of flowers and feeding the birds were another favorite past time. She took pride in her appearance and decorating her home. Barbara worked for CVS until her retirement as well as Kmart and local factories. 

She leaves her husband Adolph J. Duplissa of Dayville, CT; her daughter Cheryl (Francis) Aubin of Pomfret, CT; her grandchildren Craig (Jamie) Aubin of Thompson, CT, Holly (Eric) MacLeod of Brooklyn, CT and Amy (Anthony) Laprade of Woodstock, CT; her great grandchildren Ayla, Ashel, Bodhi and August.  She also leaves her good friend of many years, Arlene Haire of Vernon, CT
