Dear Moran family,
I am so terribly sorry to hear of your loss. I studied abroad with Tim in Istanbul. Unfortunately, I didn't keep in touch with him after that trip, but I wish I had. He was a wonderful and truly unique human being. He combined humor, passion, and compassion in such an unusual and lovely way; I can't even describe it but I know you know what I mean and I will always remember and cherish this about him.
