Not only was Bill a great guy, but he was also a wealth of local railroad historical knowledge that he was always willing to share. He will be missed.

Auntie Del. Our hearts are deep with sorrow in the news of the loss of your husband Bill. Uncle Bill was a serious man with good humor about him and we believe that is what kept him so happy in life, along side of having YOU by his side. He was an awesome card player to watch play. I remember when my sons took him on for the first time. Oh how they bragged to him that they would beat him. Uncle Bill handed them their hands and slowly devoured each of them until they had nothing left but to eat crow. I love that he didn't go easy on them. Uncle Bill's kindness to our family will never be forgotten. I will ALWAYS CHERISH knowing how great he was to my father as well. My sincere condolences to you and to our entire extended family. RIP Uncle Bill, we love you. Mary Armstrong & family

Always the joker....when I got stuck in the East Thompson Cemetery in the mud and snow..he told me he was there to arrest me not rescue me! Loved my Uncle Bill to pieces...my deepest sympathy to my cousins Jimmy,Roy,and Ronnie and his beloved wife Dell.
