Obituary of Linda A. Stadig
July 12, 1944-October 22, 2007
Linda Page Paquette Stadig, 63, of Woodstock Ave, Putnam, died in Putnam after a long illness. Wife of the late Curtis Stadig, born in Putnam, daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Russ) Page.
Linda graduated from Ellis Tech in 1962. She enjoyed playing organ, piano and dancing. She played with the Pat Lester Band in the 60's. She worked as a nurse's aid and had worked for Northeast Homemakers and area nursing homes. Linda was a compassionate person, who volunteered at the Day Kimball Hospital and at various nursing homes and very fond of her cat Romeo.
She leaves a son, Wayne Paquette of Newington, a daughter Audrey Corriveau of Thompson; a brother, Bradford Page of Pomfret Center; two grandchildren; her loving friend Steve; she was predeceased by a sister Norma Paquette in 1985.
Graveside service Saturday Oct 27th at 2 PM in Grove Street Cemetery, Putnam. Donations may be made to Pet Pals Northeast in Plainfield. CT. Arrangements by Smith & Walker Funeral Home. www.smithandwalkerfh.com
