Obituary of Paul O. Hebert

Paul O. Hebert, 86, of Woodstock, CT, died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam. Beloved husband of Lorraine (Poirier), she died in 1999. He was born on September 9, 1934 in Southbridge, MA, son of the late Omer and Jeannette (Lamontagne) Hebert.

Paul was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and ice fishing. He worked for Belding’s Farm, Sherman’s Farm, Salvas Farm and the Bennett Farm, working as a Dairy Farmer.

Paul is survived by his children, Dennis Hebert of Woodstock, Joseph Hebert and his wife Alyson of Woodstock, Susan Stevens and her husband Mike of Woodstock, brothers Roland Hebert of Florida, Donald Hebert of Woodstock, Leo Hebert of Woodstock, Raymond Hebert of Whitinsville, MA, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Penny-Ann Woodbury, she died in 2015.

A calling hour will be Wednesday, January 20, 2020 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM (with Covid-19 Restrictions) at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Church of the Visitation at 12:00 (Noon), 218 Providence Street, Putnam, CT, burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Putnam, CT.
