Obituary of Mark A. Petricola
Mark A. Petricola, 64 of Danielson, CT passed away January 20, 2021 after a courageous battle with bile duct and liver cancer, surrounded by his family at his home. He was born on October 26, 1956 in Akron, Ohio, son of the late Vincent and Gladys (Weiss) Petricola. He was the beloved husband of Tina (Truax) Petricola they were married September 15, 1979.
Mark was a 1975 graduate of Killingly High School and was formerly of Clifton Forge, VA moving to Connecticut in the 1970’s. He loved camping in his travel trailer especially at Stateline Campground in East Killingly, CT. Mark was a Chef and worked for CHR Community Health Resources and formerly was an EMT and Paramedic. He loved making wedding cakes for family and friends. Mark also sang with his beautiful tenor voice in the community choir. He loved his family and his dogs Trudy and Otis. He enjoyed his daily crossword and cryptoquote.
He leaves his wife Tina Petricola of Danielson, CT; his daughters Allison Mayo and her husband Brad of Dayville, CT and Amanda Petricola of Danielson, CT; his granddaughter Everly Mayo; his brother Dennis Petricola and his wife Linda of Brooklyn, CT; his sister Christine D. Petricola of Salem, NH and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Ronald Petricola.
