My condolences to the Sandness family. I did not know Orrin well, but my husband and I met him while he and Dan were having weeks of Chemo together. We called it "The Eastford Room"! It was interesting to talk to him and very obvious how proud he was of his family and its business. He made an unpleasant experience more bearable.
I have fond memories of Matt, Greg, Alison, Mark, and Ethan and send them all my sympathy.

We have fond memories of Orrin's smile when we went tot he apple orchard. It was always a treat for our children to get their free "kiddie apple". What a great personality Orrin had. Our sympathies to Barbara and family. May the Lord comfort you in your time of loss.

Orrin will always have a special place in my heart. I will never forget the way He and Barbara and the rest of their family "adopted" me when I was younger and made me feel like one of their own. I love you all, my prayers and heart are with you.

My thoughts & prayers are the Sandness family. He was a great man. I remember him when I attended the Eastford Baptist church and also at the apple orchard.

Orrin had my heart from the moment we met. I loved his decency, his love for his dear wife Barbara, the devotion of his family, his love of the orchard and hard work. It's hard for me to imagine the afterlife but I know Orrin is where all good people go and that it is a place of joy and peace...I just hope there is some mowing to be done. It was a gift for me to know him. Jane
