Obituary of Delina C. Milliard

Delina C. Milliard, 98, formerly of Danielson and Woodstock Valley died Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Westview Health Care in Dayville. She married Peter J. Milliard, December 31, 1929, he died October 13, 1994. Born July 31, 1909 in Milford, NH, daughter of the late Philias and Philiomene (Camire) Companion. A communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation in Putnam and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She had made her home in Danielson for 39 years and 18 years at Bungee Lake in Woodstock Valley. She leaves a son: James and wife Anne Milliard of Dayville; Two daughters: Mary Theresa Bitgood of South Windsor; Arlene and husband Richard Edmonston of Woodstock Valley; 8 grandchildren, Barbara and husband Frank Petrone of Manchester; Thomas Bitgood of South Windsor; Patricia Tomkievich of Woodstock; Lisa and husband William Wolsiegel of Woodstock; Laura and husband Rudy Peiser of Woodstock; Steven Edmonston of Woodstock: Carolyn and husband Richard Blackmar of Thompson; Catherine and husband Rob Bazinet of New London; 11 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. A Calling Hour on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial in ST Mary Cemetery, Putnam.
