Obituary of Emily A. Allard

Emily A. Allard of Church Street, Putnam went to her Lord on August 21, 2021 at the age of 83. She was born February 26, 1938 in Niantic, CT, daughter of the late James H. and Emily (Biltcliff) Staplins.

She grew up in Franklin, CT and went to the local Grammar School and Graduated from Norwich Free Academy. She then went on to School of Hairdressing in 1958. She married Richard O. Allard of Putnam, CT, on February 22, 1960. She worked as a Hairdresser and later became a Homemaker for Day Kimball Homemakers.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years Richard O. Allard of Putnam, her son Richard A. Allard and his wife Pam of St. Johnsbury, VT, her daughter Michelle Sabolesky and her Fiancé J. R. Rousseau of Putnam, CT. Her grandchildren William Allard and wife Brittany and great grandson Malika of Woodstock, CT and granddaughter Tessa Allard and great grandsons Liam and Jackson of Ludlow, MA.

A Graveside service will be Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1:00 PM in St. Mary Cemetery, 325 Providence Street, Putnam, CT.
