I have a picture in my mind of Rene arriving at the gates of Heaven. His hair is dark and slicked back, Elvis-style and he’s driving a shiny black tricked out ’57 Chevy.
Rene, you will continue to live on in my heart & mind forever.
And now, Old Friend, after an exhausting journey… The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

Uncle Rene was probably the best hugger around. When he hugged you, you knew it, and you knew that he meant it with love and affection. The world could use more huggers like him.

Even though i only new Rene for a few years i could tell he was one to help others,he was an inspiration to us all, and even as the end grew near he told us to be on top of things and keep moving foward.I think all of us at M&M have lost a great friend and co-worker. He may be gone but not forgotten. Now we have another gaurdian angel watching over us.

Rarely a day goes by where I
don't think back fondly about
Rene, or his family. Every now and then, I would see him
in my travels. He would always
take the time to stop and ask how I was doing.
Hearing his deep, booming voice would always bring back
many wonderful memories of my
days that I belonged to the
LeSage and Provost families.
I will miss Rene and I miss
you all. My deepest condolences.

My fondest memory is from about 2 years ago about this time of year. We were at church and singing the entrance hymn when my Lorelai heard Rene singing and thought it was an angel, then she turned around and looked up at him and said to me is that Santa. My response was no thats just an angel here on earth. God bless and let him give you the strength. Love, Deb, Peter, Bridget, Jennifer, Amanda-Lynn and Lorelai.

Dear Judy,
Upon hearing of Rene's death, I felt so bad inside for you. Then I remembered the day he sat with me and told me of the gift the Lord had given him. That gift was faith. Rene has gone home, but he will be waiting for you in heaven. God Bless

I had the distinct pleasure of getting to know Rene over the past two and a half years, and during that time he earned my respect with his straightforward approach to everything he did. The dignity with which he handled his illness was inspirational to me and many others who knew him. He will surely be missed but never forgotten.

Rene was a great guy in and out of work. He will be missed by all who knew him. Rene handled his illness with bravery and grace and inspired everyone around him. I will always remember a fiery Rene with long hair and beard behind the wheel where he loved to be. Rene will never be forgotten but will be sorely missed.
God Bless
