Obituary of Joseph W. Poirier

Joseph W. Poirier, 59, of Putnam, CT passed away peacefully with his sister Judith, his caregiver by his side Saturday morning, April 2, 2022 at his home in Putnam. He was born November 19, 1962 in Putnam, CT, son of the late Robert and Jeanne (Latour) Poirier.

Joseph was a jack of all trades and worked for Frank G. He also worked at Ray’s Fries and Day Kimball Hospital in the Maintenance Department. He enjoyed working on antique trucks and watching the History Channel. He loved his dog cloie and scratch tickets.

He leaves his siblings Michael Poirier of Putnam, Robert Poirier of Thompson and Judith Lyon of Putnam; his several aunts and uncles; his several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Robin Joly.
