Betty wrote to me now and then about my columns in the Villager newspapers. I loved receiving her notes and enjoyed her observations. Her story about attending Northfield through the graciousness of Beatrice Fox Auerbach was a good one.
I wish I had met her in person. She led a long and productive life.
