Sending condolences to the family and friends of Ernie. I am daughter of Richard & Eleanor (Ellie) Desjardins. I recall hearing of Ernie and stories from my dad.
So sorry for your loss; I am sure Ernie and Richie and all "Sandy Hill Bombers' are reunited like the good old times.
May all the wonderful memories of a great life help you through the sad days.
Hugs,
Pat (Desjardins) Palonen

I worked at killingly glass with Brian and Ernie was a staple at least 3 days a week… weather he was stopping in to lend a hand, do a little aluminum scrapping, or just to stop in and say hello and share a cup of coffee… he always had a joke to tell or some sound advice to give…..I have very fond memories of his infectious teasing of me and my fellow employees and his one of a kind stories from his growing up… rest easy old friend
