To the iconic LaBelle family,
My heart grieves along with all of yours in the loss our beautiful, classy, confident, endearing, engaging, empowering, intelligent, fun-loving, and unforgettable Weezie. I was one of those Room 59 kids who simply could not get enough of her laughter and life lessons. “Miss LaBelle” was one of those extraordinary mentors, imparting global wisdom and role-modeling important values like grace, compassion, and care at every turn. She always had time to listen, to advise, to guide, to lend a hand and to make a difference. She lived with an open mind, open heart, and open arms. Louise was someone who I knew I would always want to keep in my life, and I am ever grateful that our relationship evolved into a warm and lasting friendship. My heart is heavy for this loss but appreciative to have shared a beautiful stretch of road with her. Deepest sympathies to all.

To the LaBelle Family:
My deepest sympathies and condolences. I had the great pleasure to work alongside Louise as a social studies teacher at KHS for many years. She was an outstanding teacher who inspired students and adults alike. She shaped and molded many KHS students in so many positive ways. Her talents went beyond teaching. She loved to cook and sing. She will be missed, but not forgotten. I feel so fortunate to have known her. Rest in peace.

We are saddened to hear of Louise's passing. She was a loyal friend to my mother, Ginny Duggins, and to my husband and me. She sang the Hawaiian Wedding song at our wedding over fifty-four years ago.
We do hope that everyone's fondest memories of this great lady will bring solace as we mourn the loss of this bright, compassionate friend.

Louise was a very caring person, thought of others first. Always ready to go for a ride to the beach. When younger she and our Uncle Richard would go to Providence to pick up hot weenies or cherry stone clams. She will certainly be missed by all of us.

To Helen and the LaBelle Family. I was shocked and saddened to learn of Louise's passing. It's been a while since I was at a funeral where she was playing the organ and singing with Helen. Two beautiful soprano voices. I am so sorry for your loss. She'll be missed! God bless all of you.
Love, Dee

She inspired me to be a history teacher & my children in their singing in HS advanced choir. The LaBelle choir in little St. Anne’s will always hold a special place in our hearts! She loved hearing about our beach trips on the West coast & inspired the kids’ historical curiosity. Mine & our kids’ independent spirits will carry her in our hearts, making family memories just like she would want us to. Love you Weezie!- oldest niece, Christine & family
