Obituary of Sharon Clancy

Sharon L. Clancy, 65, of Woodstock, CT passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022 surrounded by her family at UMass Hospital in Worcester, MA. She was born on February 3, 1957 in Putnam, CT, daughter of the late Boyce Clancy and Esther T. Phaneuf.

Sharon worked for Linemaster Switch in Woodstock, CT. She loved her family and her dog Nellie. Sharon was a very loving and caring person and was always concerned about everyone else but herself. She enjoyed baking, cooking and was one of the kindest sister, aunt or friend anyone could ask for. Sharon will be missed dearly by many.

She leaves her sister Debra Charland of Woodstock, CT ; her niece Amy Kollbeck (Jay) of Woodstock, CT and Michael Charland (Holly) of Woodstock, CT; her great nieces and great nephews Blake Kollbeck, Dominick Kollbeck, Avery Kollbeck and Jasmine Charland, her aunts Carol Kennett of Pomfret, CT and Shirley Lefevbre (George) of Ashford, CT. Also several cousins and many friends.

She was predeceased by her brother James Clancy; her aunts Beatrice Bruneau and Dorothy Clancy; her uncle Armand LaChance.

Calling Hours will be Friday, August 19, 2022 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street Putnam, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam, CT. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Putnam, CT.
