It was a good day back on 1/9/95 when Paul Martin asked me to telephone Millie in order to provide some help with her "money" needs. It was a pleasure from the beginning, my first visit to the house felt like maybe I had been there before but no, it was just that at home feeling. I about flipped out when she showed me her sewing set up, then the pictures, of lots of her work like wedding gowns etc. Speaking of pictures, hold cow did I ever see pictures, all the girls, their kids and more. I never met Edric but kinda felt his presence. I'm so glad that I took the time to visit with Millie at Westview, she was still a piece of work, we shared some laughs and Holiday wishes. I guess for the last time in person.

im sorry to hear of the pasing of your mom. I have fond memories of growing up playing with you all at the farm and your mom making dinner for all of us (Umm, raw milk with silage floating in it!)
My thoughts are with you all today.

We met Mildred the first time when Lois and I were working together. We spent many lunch breaks at her home where she would have the TV on and be sewing. We would catch up on what was happening on the soaps. Gram was a very kind and loving individual. She also passed this characteristic to her children and grandchildren. I especially remember her Christmas eve tradition of a white fish with a white cream sauce (she had a name for it but I can't recall it was simply delicious). When going into her home she made you feel like family. We will certainly miss her and keep her in are hearts forever. We offer her family our sincerest condolences.

Dear Millie loved everyone who entered her door. For so many years she took care of my mother Karin Saunders and me. Millie knew all our weight gains and losses and always took pride in remedying our problems. Her hallway was filled with family pictures and her collection of coffee cups scanned the walls. Heaven will be blessed to have someone so gentle and caring. Her presence will be missed but memories of her will light the way for friends, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Our prayers and deepest sympathy,
Claudia and Bill Abbott
