Obituary of Dorothy A. Fournier

Dorothy A. Fournier, 91 of Putnam formerly of Webster died Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Matulaitis Nursing Home in Putnam. She was born on September 29, 1931 in Webster, MA, daughter of the late Edgar and Frances (Dudek) Dziembowski.

Dorothy was a graduate of Bartlett High School in Webster. She was a Switch Board Operator for the local phone company, and Webster Shoe Co. She was an office worker at Choiniere Dairy in Webster. Dorothy retired from Webster Credit Union. She cared for her only granddaughter Kristina, who was her world. Dorothy was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality. Later she worked as a Teacher’s Aide for Woodstock Public Schools for many years.  

She leaves her daughter Deborah Johnson and her partner George Angelotti of Putnam, CT, sister Shirley Ducharme of Killingly, CT, granddaughter Kristina Cullen and her husband Patrick of Beverly, MA and three nieces.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster, MA, burial to follow in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery in Webster.
