Obituary of Camille Catherine Owen

Camille "Millie" C. (Jarvis) Owen, 60, of Mill Street, Putnam, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 1, 2008 at Day Kimball Hospital. She was the beloved wife of William Owen. She was born October 10, 1947 in Putnam daughter of the late Camille and Gladys (Raymond) Jarvis.

She had worked for over 35 years at American Optical, Cabot and Aero Companies all in Southbridge, MA. She was a graduate of the Putnam High School Class 1966. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She leaves in addition to her husband William, a daughter: Jamie Greer and her husband Brett of West Orange, NJ, two brothers: Richard Jarvis and his wife Susan of Dudley, MA; Victor Jarvis and his wife Marlene of Putnam, nieces: Aja Jarvis; Naomi Jarvis; a nephew: Jediah Jarvis, two great nephews: Damian; Jacob, and many friends.

The funeral will be Tuesday at 12:00 Noon at the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, Calling Hours, Tuesday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Putnam. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
