Obituary of Betty Barrie

Betty Jean Barrie, 76, of Danielson, CT, passed away July 6, 2023 at Douglas Manor in Windham, CT. She was born November 15, 1946 in Texas. She worked in the Hospitality industry.

Betty leaves her sister Marie Kandra; her nieces Denice Hazelwood (Richard), Laura Macias (Edwardo), Heather Hazelwood, Bethany Kibbey and Rebecca Ineson; her nephew Stephen Kandra; her half siblings Debbie Frye (Jim), Lori Maynard (Jerry), Billy McDermott (Shawne) and Diana Raposa; Her half nieces Erica Prince, Christina Sawyer, Whitney Wagoner, Kendra Sawyer and Eva Raposa; her half nephews Josh McDermott, Justin McDermott and David Stiles.

She was predeceased by two brothers Thomas R. McDermott and William Ineson.

Betty’s family would like to thank Betty’s caregivers, Rose Person, Josh Wiles and Carol Harris a close friend of 20 plus years and also the staff of Douglas Manor for their care of Betty.
