Obituary of Patricia Jane LaFortune

Patricia Jane (Cronin) LaFortune, 92, of Putnam, CT passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT. She was born January 26, 1931, in Lowell, MA, daughter of the late John and Josephine (Welcome) Cronin. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Joseph LaFortune, Sr.

Patricia enjoyed crocheting, baking, reading, and family gatherings being with her children.

She leaves her children Gary LaFortune, Edward LaFortune, Jr., Deborah Gaboury and her husband Norman, Paula Robbins and her husband Russell, Denise Dirkson, Nancy LaFortune, Robert LaFortune and Carol Mason and her husband Robert; her 21 grandchildren; her 41 great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter-in-law Penny LaFortune.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Patricia and her husband Edward J. LaFortune, Sr. were buried in St. Mary Cemetery, Putnam, CT. Share a memory at www.smithandwalkerfh.com
