Obituary of Ronald N. Aubin

Ronald N. Aubin, 75, passed away on September 30, 2023 from a battle of Frontotemporal Dementia at Westview. He was born in 1948 in Putnam, CT (son of Robert and Georgette Aubin). Ronald was survived by his beloved wife (Lori Baker-Aubin), his son (Brad, wife Tracy), his stepdaughter (Erica Barbeau), his brother (Robert Jr, wife Dorothy) and brother (Robin, wife Diane). In additional he had a niece and multiple nephews as well as great nephews and nieces.

 

Ronald Aubin graduated from St. Francis College. He performed with The Continentals and with The Prime Mover. He collaborated with Tony Pastor and created a single.  He served 8 years in the National Guard. He worked for International Paper (28 years) and United Natural Foods (3 years). 

Ronald loved to travel with his wife, Lori. He enjoyed golf, bowling and gaming. He was a fan of the UCONN girls’ basketball team and loved animals. He will forever be remembered as a warm, compassionate, jovial, gentle, caring person and was a blessing to his wife, Lori. 

 

He will be buried at the Holy Cross Cemetery with immediate family. A Celebration of Life will be open to the public on Saturday, October 7th at South Killingly Fire Department from 12pm until 4pm.
