My condolences to the Shaw family. Stan was a kind and generous man. He donated merchandise for St. Mary Circle of Fun. When, in 1973 or 1974, he found out I was using a washer to make the logo, he gave me a circle template which I still have. When I started a photo club at St.Mary School and went to Shaw's to buy a paper cutter, he sold one to me at 50% off, something he didn't have to do. I hadn't seen him in perhaps 15 years but, he remembered my name when he and his wife joined Putnam Commission on Aging for an Indian Princess trip on Webster Lake. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity.
