Pops,
You and I were very interested in U.S. Military History so I was so happy to see you receive a U.S. Army Honor Guard ceremony at your service. You leave behind a family and friends united in loyalty to you and the sadness they bear at this time. You had a deep faith and you will be rewarded with eternal life with the Lord for your devotion. Ironically, you passed away on the same day as my Dad. I am proud to be one of the "Four Ed's". "God Speed"...Edward Somers.

I will always remember you teaching me the jitterbug and foxtrot in the kitchen on Laurel Drive. Your funny, quick witted responses and wisdom-filled heart to heart chats. Your ability to find the positive in life’s challenges and your belief in me. I’ll miss your sense of humor, your quick temper (thank you for passing it on to me haha!), your binders, planners, agendas and calendars with every word highlighted. I’ll miss picking up your groceries and hearing you tell me that just me coming by for a few minutes brightened your day. Thank you for all of the memories, Pop. It is so hard to say goodbye but I know your dancing up there — floating effortlessly across the clouds just like you used to on the dance floor. Love, Brittany
