Obituary of Jane Ann Plante

PLANTE, Jane Ann, 75, passed away at home, peacefully, on November 7, 2023, of natural causes. She was born Jane Ann Ducat, in Putnam, August 24, 1948 to the late Albert G Ducat and Marguerite (Poitras) Ducat. She attended St James Parochial School, Putnam Catholic Academy and Mitchell College. Jane enjoyed reading, cooking, and trying new recipes. She especially enjoyed visits with her children and grandchildren.

Jane leaves behind one son, J. Gregory Plante and a daughter, Jessica (Kenneth) OConnor. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Ryan Benoit, C.J and Ashly Lonchiadis, and Jacob and Lindsey Plante. Jane was also the proud great grandmother to Sophia, Gabriella and Kenji. Jane also leaves behind eight brothers: James (Carol), Paul, Bernard (Maureen), David (Lori), Joseph (Pamela), Marc (Mary), Peter (Laurie), and Timothy (Colleen) Ducat, and five sisters: Olive Arters, Denise DeGray, Michele Masse, Valerie (Dennis) Bowen and Phyllis (Glenn) Juber; she also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian Burial will take place on November 18, at 11 a.m. at St James Church in Danielson. Burial will be private.
