You will be missed MaTante! We always considered you our young aunt. You were fun to be with and had lots of energy. As kids we loved going to your house and eating fluffernutter sandwiches and playing with our cousins. Thank you for being our aunt, love you.

She was my “Little Friend.” I always loved visiting her because she was so spunky and honest. I am grateful for being part of her family, and I know she and her sisters are finally together again. I miss them all. Here’s to all the Boulais women.

To the strongest woman I knew (besides Grand-Memere and Mom), I’ll miss you so very much. My heart hurts, but I am thankful that I was able to see you and tell you just how much I love you only one week ago. Heaven gained an angel today…one that will surely set any record straight should there be one off kilter :-)

So sorry for loss. Mrs.LaBelle was like a second mother to me. I spent more time at there house than my own. Fantastic memories of the wonderful pasta dinners. Always a happy smile when I would see her at St. James functions. May God bless her always...love to her...Jeff

What a full and rich life you had, Aunt Rita. You were an amazing sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and, to me, godmother. I always admired your strength, confidence, wry sense of humor, and just the right amount of sarcasm. What a legacy you have left behind, not only with your family, but also with the town and St. James. You have earned your well-deserved rest and now are back in the bosom of your family in Heaven. We will miss you dearly, but the rich memories and great stories will warm us and keep us with smiles on our faces.

God’s speed, Aunt Rita. May you laugh with your husband, your mom and siblings in a wonderful reunion. I can hear someone asking for a game of Rummikub right now. You will be greatly missed here. To my cousins, their children and grands, I send my condolences. We were all so fortunate to be in her orbit. She was a strong and resourceful woman in a family full of them. We all have a great legacy to contribute to.

Aunt Rita was always ready for any new adventure - whether is was late night hot weiners, little necks and later in life going on great trips to Europe or Canada with her daughters or meeting family at Zips for early breakfast. She will be missed. Love you MaTante. Jeanne (LaBelle) Trudo
