Obituary of Luranelle Kimball

Luranelle Kimball, 97, of Dayville, CT passed away peacefully at Westview in Dayville, CT. She was born November 23, 1926 in Providence, RI, daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (Steere) Baxter.

Luranelle worked as a welder at Royal Metals and owned Laurie’s Antiques. She loved her family, antiques, genealogy, John Wayne and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her children Ruth and Robert; her five grandsons and five great grandchildren; her beloved nieces Pam, Karen and Holly.

She was predeceased by her husband Walter Kimball; her sister Roberta; her daughter Kathy Kimball; her grandchildren Ryan Kimball and Bethany Kimball.

A Gathering will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Gagnon and Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds Street Danielson, CT. A Graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at Westfield Cemetery, Danielson, CT.
