Obituary of Thomas Joseph Raymond Milhomme

Thomas Joseph Raymond Milhomme, 79, of Brooklyn, CT passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, February 5, 2024 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Sharon (White) Milhomme. He was born July 22, 1944 in Willimantic, CT son of the late Gerard and Gladys (Hawas) Milhomme.

Thomas was a carpenter for over 50 years and worked for Union Local 22. After retirement in 2004 he still enjoyed doing carpentry. Thomas served in the United States Airforce and later served in the Nation Guard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking care of his vegetable garden.

He leaves his wife of 53 years Sharon Milhomme of Brooklyn, CT; his daughters Dawn Sherman and her fiancé Christopher Conley of Killingly, CT and Tammy Adams and her husband Jason Adams of Brooklyn, CT; his son Todd Milhomme of Brooklyn, CT; his grandchildren Alyssa Heuer, Ashley Sherman, Thomas Sherman, Travis Sherman and Alayna Adams; his sisters Kathy Sprague of Chaplin, CT and Laurie Schneider of Chaplin, CT; also his dog Chloe.

Thomas was predeceased by his sons Thomas Milhomme, Jr. and Travis Milhomme; his brother Rod Milhomme and his sisters Peggy Milhomme and Rosalie Dietrich. Also his dogs Suede, Penny, Brittney and Butch.
