Obituary of Rose E. Bushey

Rose E. Bushey, 90, of Brooklyn formally of Putnam died Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn. She was born in Putnam on January 14, 1934 daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Ann (Lavallee) Credit. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church of the Visitation in Putnam, an avid dancer and enjoyed her family very much. She operated a Daycare for 10 years out of her home. She also worked at Danielson curtain for 16 years as a sewing machine operator and 13 years at the Plainfield Dog track.

She leaves her son Douglas Bushey and his wife Linda of Plainfield and her daughter Danielle Lalumiere and her husband Paul of Plainfield. Grandchildren Sean, Tabitha, Lexi, Britni, John, Cory, Dylan and Jordan. Three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She’s also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Emile Credit, Charles Credit, Lionel Credit, Cecile Lambert and Theresa Langlois.

A graveside service will be held March 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM in St. Mary Cemetery, 325 Providence Street, Putnam, CT in Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 25 Brook Street, I-91 Tech Ctr, Rocky Hill, CT 06067-3045.
