Obituary of John Patrick Tighe

John Patrick Tighe, 93, of Killingly, CT passed away March 24, 2024 at Davis Place in Danielson, CT. He was born February 7, 1931 in Worcester, MA, son of the late Thomas and Marion (Tweedie) Tighe. John was the beloved Husband of the late Gilda Mary (Comosse) Tighe.

He served in the US Navy, went on to graduate from Wentworth Institute in Boston with a degree in engineering and retired from Mass Electric. John was the owner of R&R Trailer Park in Dayville, CT.

He leaves behind his siblings Mary Turcotte of North Grafton and Paul Tighe of Worcester. He was predeceased by his wife Gilda Tighe, brother Tom Tighe of Sutton, sisters Fran MacAvey of Worcester, Pat Jones of Holden and Helen Sheehan of Millbury. He Also leaves behind many, many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Davis Place Nursing Home in Danielson CT and longtime friend Gary Pike for their care and support.
