Obituary of Robert H. Loiselle

Robert H. Loiselle, Sr., 90, of Ballouville, CT passed away March 26, 2024 at his home. He was born February 16, 1934 in Wauregan, CT, son of the late Fortunate and Irene (Garnier) Loiselle. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Jolicoeur) Loiselle.

Robert served with the United States Army and was a POW in Korea . He worked for Electric Boat for over 40 years starting as a Machinist and retiring as an  Inspector. He also worked for Lockheed Martin in California. Robert was active in local government serving on the Town Council, Water Pollution and Control and with the Housing Authority. He enjoyed playing Cribbage and was an avid Bowler.

He leaves his wife Barbara Loiselle; his daughters Debbie Weaver and Elaine George; his son Dale Loiselle; his son in laws Robert (Tripp) Weaver and Robert George; his several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Robert H. Loiselle, Jr.
