Obituary of Leona Regina Norris

Leona Regina Norris (nee Gallichant) passed away on May 8, 2024, in Danielson, Connecticut, at the age of 97. Born on July 26, 1926, she is mourned by her loved ones. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Dora (Lemire) and by her brother Normand. Leona is survived by her devoted children: Joyce (David) , Daniel, Michael (Jacqueline), Patrick, and Kevin (Sara). She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Leona touched the lives of all who knew her with her love, hospitality, generosity, and kindness. While we mourn her passing, we know that she has been called home to heaven, where she is reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. We take comfort in the knowledge that we will see her again.
