Obituary of Annie D Perkins

Annie D. Perkins, 84, of Brooklyn, CT passed away September 3, 2024 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT. She was the beloved wife of Richard H. Perkins of 61 years, they were married on August 16, 1963. She was born on March 7, 1940 in Foster, RI, daughter of the late Herbert and Helen Mirian (Johnson) Dexter.

Annie was a member of the United Methodist Church of Danielson. She enjoyed bird watching and time with her chihuahua, Taco. Annie loved her time with her family and friends. She hosted a get together most Friday nights with family and friends that gave her much pleasure. Annie was an animal lover, there was always a “Noah’s Ark” of animals on the farm.

She leaves her husband Richard H. Perkins of Brooklyn, CT; her daughters Elizabeth and her husband Ronald Kneeland and Cyndi Perkins; her son Robert and his wife Sharon Perkins. Also all of her “adopted” children. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and caregivers for their care to Annie during her many stays at Day Kimball Hospital.

Calling Hours will be Friday, September 27, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the United Methodist Church. A Memorial Service will be Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church of Danielson, 9 Spring Street, Danielson, CT. Burial will be private at South Killingly Cemetery.
