I did not have the privilege of knowing Don for more than just a few years. We were both members of the Yankee Yesteryear Car Club and the Danielson Veterans Coffeehouse. The fact that we were both Air Force veterans was what really drew us together. I enjoyed his company and his stories of his time in the Air Force. I count myself lucky to have met him and only wished that I could have met him while Anna (who had passed long before I met Don) was alive. Although it’s sad that Don has passed on, I know from our past conversations that he was looking forward to being with Anna once again. I am certain that they are together. May Don rest in peace.
