Gerry posted a condolence
My love and deepest sympathies to Gary, Heather, Melissa, Ashley and the St. Jean family. What a perfect photo that captures Pug's humor and spirit exactly as I knew and will remember him. While Pug was my work supervisor for a time, he was always a friend and a father figure to me to and he will be missed. Through the years, I deeply admired Pug's integrity, patience, wit, work ethic and fierce loyalty to his family. But I was awed by his art and craftsmanship through which we all experienced his soul. So here is to a life well lived Pug and Godspeed as you continue your journey in another realm.

I want to extend my deepest sympathies to the family of "Pug St. Jean". I remember him as a good man, devoted to his family and very caring to his neighbors. I was impressed one day when he showed me his woodworking projects. May all of your memories give you peace.

Uncle Pug, I'll always remember your beautiful smile and sense of humor. You were a caring and loving uncle, always willing to help. You and Aunt Pete hired me as a "painter" when I needed money during college, and let my crazy P.C. friends party at your pool once we graduated. Thank you for your devotion to your family and your country, and for your love and laughter. You will forever be in my heart. Laurie

Pug, I know you are finally at peace and with Pete. You have longed to be with her for so many years, and I find great comfort in knowing you both are finally together. I will miss our special time together. Cutting your hair; the weekly errands and then having break; our conversations about your life and how it has been a "good ride" the very early mornings at the hospital lab, and your stories of WWII. I will never forget your courage and sacrifices you gave our Country, and will share your stories of WWII with honor and pride. You have shown incredible grace and dignity the past 2 1/2 months - never complaining and always sharing "things could be worse." I admire you. You and Pete can be proud of the way you raised Gary. He is a loving man with a very gentle and kindhearted soul. So, go in peace, Pug. Be with Pete and know everything is going to be just fine here. I will take care of your son.
You will never be forgotten.
I love you.

Well Dad, this part of the journey is finally over, and the next one has begun. I will miss you terribly, but I am so comforted to know that the struggle is over, you're at peace, and you're back with mom. I'll miss all the talks, and laughs, and Saturday morning eggs, but I have a heart filled with the best memories a son could ever ask for. You were the best dad, friend, mentor, father-in-law to Heather, and pep to the girls. We'll all be okay - and know that there will be plenty of laughter whenever we talk of the memories with you. Three cheers for a life very well lived! I'll miss you dad, but go on in peace.

To Gary, Heather, Melissa and Ashley, I send you my condolences. You have lost a very special person. To "Pug", although I knew you for a very short time we shared some precious moments, you were a man of great humor, and artist and craftman, a wonderful respectful man that those who did not know you were deprived a great experience in life. A decorated veteran and for this I thank you. You will be missed Pug, but I wish you peace in your passing in hopes that you have joined your beloved wife and are now together again.

My sincere sympathy goes out to Gary and your family. I worked with Francis at Control Concepts for many years and we all loved him here. He will be missed by all. We all enjoyed his occasional visits after he retired. He was so proud of Gary, Melissa and Ashley and spoke of you all the time. I'm sure he is happy now because he is with his wife who he missed so much.
God bless you and help you through this time.

To Bean (Gary) & Heather, Melissa & Ashley and "Pug's" brothers & sister, my sincere sympathy for your loss. While I didn't know "Pug" for very long, in the time that I did get to know him it was obvious what a loving and caring man he was. His devotion and love of his family will forever be remembered in their hearts and in the hearts of those who knew him. May his spirit live on.
