Obituary of Dorine Elise Nierintz

Dorine Elise Nierintz , 64, of Sabin Street, Putnam, formerly of Torrington, died Wednesday at the Pierce Memorial Baptist Home in Brooklyn, after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Edward C. and Doris (Chadburn) Nierintz. She was born in Torrington on September 7, 1943. She attended Torrington Schools and made her home in Torrington for many years, moving to Putnam eighteen years ago. She was active in the Northeast Association of American Baptist Churches of Connecticut. She served as Church Organist and Clerk of the Putnam Baptist Church, and was an active member for many years. She leaves a sister, Linnette and her husband, the Rev. Dr. Lawrence E. Whitlock, III of Warrenton, MO; a niece, Karen L.W. Spradling of Wright City, MO; a nephew Frederick E. Whitlock of Waterford; a grandniece and grandnephew. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Putnam Baptist Church, 170 Church Street, Putnam with the Rev. Gill Bourquin officiating. Burial will be in Grove Street Cemetery, Putnam. There will be a reception following the burial at the Putnam Baptist Church. Donations may be made in her memory to the Putnam Baptist Church.
