Obituary of Glenn D. Hamilton

Glenn D. Hamilton passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at home in East Putnam, CT with his loving family by his side. Glenn was born on February 1, 1957 to Ralph P. and Joan I. Hamilton in Natick, MA. A graduate of Natick High School, Glenn went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Management from Lesley College in 1989 and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bentley College in 1992 while supporting and raising his young family. Glenn was employed by GTECH Corporation as a senior business analyst. Glenn loved spending his free time at home outdoors, playing with his dogs Niles and Ludwig and enjoyed the beauty of nature, loving the serenity of both the woods and the ocean. Glenn enjoyed reading immensely finding some of his greatest joys in great literature of all kinds. Glenn found the quote "I Like to Sleep" by Kurt Vonnegut fitting for this occasion. Glenn was a truly great man, a caring and devoted husband, father and brother. He leaves behind his cherished wife, Kyle Marie Beaupre, his devoted son Joseph Hamilton of Worcester, MA, his daughter and son-in-law Joely and Keith LaPan of Webster, MA, his loving brother and sister-in-law Gordon and Carol Hamilton of Natick, MA and two nieces Jessica and Julie Hamilton. Glenn also leaves behind his four step children Scott, Jason, Dan and Kami and his nine beloved grandchildren. Per Glenn's request, there will be no services held. There will be a small gathering of friends and family at Glenn's home at 743 Five Mile River Road in East Putnam, CT on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
