Obituary of George G. Bellen

George G. and Nancy J. Bellen, of the Dayville section of Killingly, CT, formerly of Dudley , MA and Rochester, NH, died from injuries of an auto accident. George and Nancy were married November 30, 1968 in New Hampshire. They had made their home in Dayville for the last eight years. They both had a great love for animals and caring for them. Nancy died Saturday, May 3, 2008. She was born April 27, 1938 in Dover, NH, the daughter of Eileen (Bryant) Howard of Rochester and the late Llewellyn Howard. Nancy worked for several years for Stevens Linens in Dudley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Webster, MA. She enjoyed watching her soap operas, Nancy enjoyed talking to people, she could have a good conversation with anyone. She leaves in addition to her mother Eileen, two sisters: Mary Parent of Laconia, NH; Carol Bernard of Dover, NH, nephews: Wayne Bryant; Bill Bryant and Donald Howard all of Rochester, NH. George died on Sunday, May 4, 2008. He was born August 31, 1942, in Rochester, NH, son of the late Walter A. and Marjorie Ellen (Canney) Bellen. Walter worked in the recycling business for many years, he has been a driver for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and the Norwich Bulletin delivering papers with his wife. He leaves his siblings: Walter Bellen, Jr. of Brattleboro, VT; Ruth Rathbun of Putnam, CT; Donald Bellen of Conway, NH: Anna Green of Sangerville, Maine; Micheal Bellen of Dennisport, MA; twins Janet Bellen of Conway, NH and Jean Bellen of Southbridge, MA; several nieces and nephews, he was predeceased by a brother: Wayne Bellen. A Memorial Services will be May 17th, 2008 (Saturday) at 12:00 Noon in the Faith Bible Evangelical Free Church, 587 Route 171, Woodstock, CT. burial will be in Cold Springs Cemetery in Rochester, NH at a later date.
