Marie Mary Gaudreau, 91, of Putnam, died Friday at Matulaitis Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Raymond Gaudreau and the daughter of the late Regina and Hector Paris.
She leaves two daughters, Joan Kacerik and her husband Steve, Sandra Dery and her husband Richard. She was predeceased by a third daughter, Linda Hardel. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Christine, Stephen, John, Mark, Jeffrey, Jason, Deborah, Keith, and 9 great grandchildren, Megan, Laura, Thomas, Nathan, Joshua, Alec, Illyssa, Victoria and Emily, her sisters, Yvette Breault, Laurette Dallasen and Lucille Vandale. She also was predeceased by a sister Gabriel Roos and a brother, Marcel Dumas.
Mary was employed at Belding Hemingway, Busy Corner Restaurant and Aldrich Jewelers. She loved having her family around, enjoyed her friends and playing cards.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 1st at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Putnam. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Alzheimer's Research, Yale Medical Group, PO Box 9805, New Haven, CT 06536-0805 or to St. Mary Church of the Visitation.
