Bob always welcomed me into his home as a visiting nurse. I was introduced to Bob by Gail Beausoleil, his visiting nurse. He had quite the sense of humor, an unconditional love for his cat who didn't have a name, and a desire to direct his own care. He will be missed.

I was Bob's visiting nurse for the past three years. I have many fond memories of him, and I will miss our visits. I know he sincerely appreciated the care that I provided, and as he put it, "I would be up the creek in a leaky boat without you." He was a caring individual, and was extremely devoted to his precious cat. There was not a day that I visited that I did not find his cat snuggled up to him, waiting for a special treat or a kind word. Bob had a temper, a sense of humor, and the determination to do things his own way. He was determined to remain in his home, and I am grateful that he was able to pass away there, as I now it was his wish. He would never want to linger in a hospital or a nursing home. I spend many hours with him, and shared many conversations about his life and his memories. I will miss him very much. Patients touch your lives in many ways. Bob certainly will be in my thoughts forever. May God watch over him. Gail Beausoleil, RN WCC
