My memery of Scotty that realy stands out to me is at Price Shopper, he harassed me to become his friend! Begged me "Will you be my friend?", "Why won't you be my friend?" He used his famous saying "Hey girl, hey!" That was what really reeled me in! From that day I was hooked and I still consider him a friend though he may not be here(physically). <3<3<3

It has been said that the nature of a man can be seen by who his friends are. Obviously Scottie was a beyond awesome individual. His way of life, of loving and not judging could be seen by the huge variety of people he touched. The little boy who we loved so much became a man who loveed everyone and will forever continue to inspire us to be better people.

The picture above is how i best remember Scottie.
I met Scottie when he lived on Mill St, and he was definitely always the funny one in our group of friends...always trying to make someone smile. If anyone was having a bad day he was always there to make a joke or just be a great friend.
I had lost touch with him, until very recently which is why this is so hard to take in...it was just a few weeks ago i saw an old friend at Price Chopper, and got to catch up...i actually had to poke fun at him a little bit, for his beard, cuz i remember him without one. It's really hard to think what you take for granted...I never would've thought that would be the last time i would see him...
It was hard to stay and console friends at the service yesterday, and when i saw all the pictures that were hanging, it really hit me.
I only stayed a short time, because it was so upsetting. It really touched me that mostly everyone who knew him found a way to make it. Even if they hadn't seen him in a long time, or didn't talk to him as much anymore, everyone could make it to honor his memory. That's what really shows that he touched so many people in a special way, that everyone felt they needed to attend, even if it's been years since they hung out or saw each other.
My heart goes out to everyone who knew Scottie...this is a hard time for everyone and really lets us think more about what we have in this life.
I loved Scottie, and I wish I could've spent more time with him..We all know he's in a good place, and the only thing we can do now is ensure that he is never forgotten (which we all KNOW will never happen).
To his family, friends, and everyone else, my heart goes out to you.
We all lost a great friend...the one who knew just how to brighten your day.
We all love you, Scottie, Rest in Peace.

I will never forget Scottie's fun personality, goofy sense of humor, funny T-shirts or his incredible smile that lit up a room. I only worked with him for a few months, but it only took a minute for him to touch a life. My heart goes out to the entire family.

My thoughts are with Erin and Scottie's family. Scottie and Erin are my daughter Tiffany's friends. I remember them coming over the house and Scottie being able to "one up" Tiffany's sarcastic brother. As odd as this sounds ... my fondest memory of Scottie will be him "humping" my son who always had a comeback .. and didn't that time. My daughter has been miserable since she heard the news. And I see that many people feel the same way. Scottie was obviously a good person with a lot of friends. Sorry for your loss.

Scottie was like the younger/older brother i never had. He was more mature for his age then you would ever be able to tell. Scottie was the best friend anyone could ever ask for because he got along with everyone so well. If there was one person who could end stereotypes anywhere, it would have been him. You will forever be in our hearts and in our minds Scottie. We will never forget you. See you up there buddie.
