Obituary of Mary Toolan
Mary Toolan, 89 of Pomfret Street, Putnam, died Sunday morning at the Westview Nursing Care in Dayville. She was born September 30, 1919, daughter of the late Thomas and Deborah (Lynch) Toolan.
She was a communicant of ST Mary Church of the Visitation. She was a graduate of the ST Francis Nursing School in Hartford and the Putnam Catholic Academy in Putnam. Mary was a Registered Nurse. She worked at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam and then as a Public Health Nurse in Washington, DC for many years. She leaves a sister: Anna Toolan and two brothers: Joseph Toolan and Thomas Toolan all of Dayville. T
