Obituary of Peter L. Litchfield
Peter L. Litchfield, Sr., 66, of Hartford Pike, Dayville, died Thursday at the Day Kimball Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Brissette) Litchfield. They were married September 24, 1966 in ST Joseph Church, North Grosvenordale. He was born November 15, 1941 in Putnam.
Peter was an owner operator of TSP Trucking for over twenty years. He enjoyed country music, his biggest love was spending time with his boys and his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his sons: Peter Litchfield, Jr. and his wife Mary of Salem; Scott Litchfield and his wife Patricia of Westerly; Trevor Litchfield and his fiance Sara of Eastford, his loving grandchildren Colby, Clayton, Abby and Collin.
Graveside Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 PM at High Street Cemetery, Dayville. Calling Hours will be Tuesday from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 106 Route 32, Franklin, CT, 06254.
