My sincere sympathy to you, Liz, Stan and all of your families. My fondest memories are of your mother as my Math teacher at Smith Street School--she piqued my interest in math and teaching. She often asked me to "take over the class" when she had principal duties. Her lovely sympathy note of last week has special meaning for me now. May you all support each other and cherish the beautiful memories.

Dear Liz,
Thank you for your kind sentiments when my Dad passed. In turn my sincere sympathy to you and your family. My most vivid memories of Isabel are at the Library. Walking passed her office she would be banging away on the typewriter smoking a cigarette or she would peek up over her glasses to say hello or take a moment to chat. I really missed seeing her after she left - she was a wonderful lady. I know you have many memories and stories to treasure.

I remember staying at Auntie Bell and Uncle Stuart's house during summers when I was young. I have many fond memories still to this day of swimming in their pool, going down the slide and enjoying the warm weather. She was one of the most kindest and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She will be dearly missed by many.

To all of Mrs Franklin's family, I am sorry for your loss. I will never forget our wonderful Mrs Franklin.
I was in her 4th grade homeroom the year Stanley was. We had to cover our new workbooks.
To show what she meant, Mrs Franklin walked over, picked Stanley's covered workbook up, and remarked on the beautiful job "Stanley's mother" had done.
That was Mrs Franklin, and it's no wonder we loved her.

What a wonderful write up about Aunt Isabel. She led a long and fascinating life. I learned things I never knew about Aunt Isabel. You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this hard time. Love to all of you.
