Carol J. Paul, 59, of Corrine Street, Danielson, CT, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. She was the beloved wife of Ronald Paul; they were married July 15, 1972. She was born August 29, 1953, in Worcester, MA, daughter of Michael Kudzal of Dudley, MA and the late Mona (Sadd) Kudzal. She had made her home in in Putnam most of her life moving to Danielson two years ago. She was the Director of Religious Education at St. Mary Parish in Putnam for 18 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church of the Visitation, a member of the St Mary Circle 543, Daughters of Isabella, and was the present Regent and Past President of the Friends of St. Mary and the co-manager of the Angel Gift Shop. She served on several Diocesan Committees over the years. Carol was curator of the Gertrude Warner Boxcar Museum in Putnam and a member of the Aspinock Historical Society. She was known to many for her great smile and positive outlook on life, she always had time for others. She was a loving wife, sister and friend to many. She leaves in addition to her husband of 41 years, Ronald, her father Michael, her sisters, Nancy Kudzal of Worcester; Patricia Blake of Thompson; her brothers, Robert Kudzal; James Kudzal of Maryland, several nieces and nephews. The Funeral will be Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 9:45 AM from the Smith and Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam, CT. Calling Hours will be Wednesday, February 27, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carol's memory to the St Mary Church of the Visitation, 218 Providence Street, Putnam, CT 06260.
