Obituary of Sara A. Fifield

Sara A. Fifield, 74, formerly of Danielson and Thompson, died Saturday at the Millbury Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Harry A. Fifield, he died in 1993. She was born January 11, 1935 in Sutton, MA, daughter of the late John and Ann (Sawchuck) King. She spent her youth in Sutton attending school and was a member of the West Sutton Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She also made her home in Thompson for thirty years, and then in Danielson. She worked many years for the Webster VNA, working as an aid. She was a member of the D.A.R., she enjoyed cooking, her home, working in her gardens, caring for her flowers, she had a great love for the outdoors. She leaves a son: Dale Fifield of Thompson; a daughter: Susan Witter of Brooklyn, a brother: Daniel King of Sutton; a sister: Marilyn Manski of Sutton; grandchildren: Michael James Witter; Brian Mathew Witter; Randall Fifield. Private funeral services were held Tuesday at the Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove Street, Putnam. Burial in East Thompson Cemetery.
