Obituary of Evelyn P. Edwards

Evelyn P. Edwards, 98, of East Woodstock, CT, passed away March 5, 2009. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis "Red" Edwards, who predeceased her in 1986. She was born February 9, 1911 in Raymond, NH, daughter of the late Fred and Eleanor (Wentworth) Sinclair. She was a member of the East Woodstock Congregational Church; Evelyn enjoyed her family, knitting, crocheting and bird watching. She leaves two sons: Francis "Howard" Edwards and his wife Pauline of East Woodstock; Gerald Edwards and his wife Patricia of Dover, DE; a daughter Marilyn Sherman and her husband Allen of Woodstock; siblings Lola Wakefield, Mona Charles, Donald Morgan, Lee Morgan, Maynard Morgan all of New Hampshire; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 9 great, great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter: Cheryl Barbaro; a grandson: Dale Edwards; siblings: Lloyd Morgan; Frank Sinclair; Wayne Morgan; Kenneth Morgan; Lois Glidden; Jeanne Ringer; Harry Morgan. Funeral Service will be March 28th (Saturday) at 11:00 AM at the East Woodstock Congregational Church, Woodstock Road, East Woodstock, CT. Burial in East Woodstock Cemetery.
