Please accept my deepest sympathy and know that you are in my prayers during this most difficult time of loss. I worked with Dr Klare back in the 70's and 80's. His memory is one of great dedication to his patients and the community. I no longer live in the area but did want to extend my deepest condolences.

Barbara:
I wanted to add my sincere thoughts on Dr. Klare's passing. I was so fascinated by his obiturary and especially his WWII adverntures. What an incredible life. I wish I'd had the chance to meet and know him a bit.
Please know we're thinking about you. Certainly, this is a time when the church and the organ, in which you were so involved, will be a most important part of life.

Although I have never met Cousin Rudy, I have heard so much about him my from Aunt Ruth. I work in the Interventional Radiology Department at Middlesex Hospital. As a healthcare professional, I have never heard of a doctor being so compassionate, dedicated, and loyal to his patients and family. My family speaks so highly of him, as I have read, so do his employees and patients. It is so hard to find a "country doctor" these days. Please accept my dearest sympathies to his family, wife Barbara, son Dr. Ronald and Joy, Steven. Also, Heather, Dr. Jason, Dr. Jennifer, and Whitney

The last time we had an opportunity to be in town and meet with him was when he was honored by the East Woodstock Congregational Church at the July 4 Jamboree.
We will both miss him dearly.

To a dear friend of my mother and father and extended aunts and uncles, we grew up knowing you as "Uncle Rudy". My mother, Gracie, is not able to send her thoughts personally, I know you will always be remembered as family to the Estler's. Your house on the hill with the big german shepherd and beautiful stone fireplace in the family room are some of my earilest memories of visiting as a very young child. You lived your life to the fullest, always entertaining us with interesting and sometimes unbelivable stories of your past experiences. We are very lucky to have been a part of your life. Your memories will always bring a smile!

Dr. Rudy was my boss (and friend) for 22 years. I will always remember his skill as a diagnostician and his many acts of kindness toward his patients. He also had a keen sense of humor which he enjoyed sharing with patients and staff alike.
Dr. Rudy was the consummate country doctor who put caring for his patients above personal profit and always took the time to listen, to explain and to teach. He and his wife, Barbara, made me feel like part of their family and I will cherish the memories of those years always. Rest in peace, Dr. Rudy.

When I was 16 years old (back in the middle 60's) I developed Guillian Bsrre syndrome. He knew immediately what it was and what steps to take for my treatment. I was in Daykimball for a month. He came every day to see how I was doing emotionally, and physically as well.He was always kind and caring. He is by far the best Doctor that ever was.
I was fortunate enough, just a few weeks ago, to see and have time to talk to him. I don't know what his medical condition was, but I took his hand, leaned over and told him 'I don't know if you remember me but I was your favorite patient, Kitty Shooter. I'm the one that had guillian barre. You were the BEST Dr. I ever had. Thank you.' He smiled and squeezed my hand. I'd like to believe he under stood what I said and actually remembered me. This was just a few weeks ago.
Again, he was the BEST.

Mrs. Klare and family,
I recently came across pictures of Dr. Klare and other Day Kimball doctors and staff going through pictures of my mother (Renee Delano). I forwarded them to Dr. Ronald Klare's office only to have the Post Office return them. I then called the office for the correct mailing address and remailed them on March 6th. I had thought Dr. Klare would enjoy having them.
Dr. Klare was my doctor growing up and just what one would think of a dedicated country physician. He never rushed patients and always was made you feel like you were his special patient.
My sympathy goes out to you and your family for your loss.
