Obituary of Carmela M. Ripi

Carmela M. Ripi, 97 of Mashamoquet Rd, Pomfret, died February 10, 2009, in Day Kimball Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 25, 1911. Carmela leaves behind her daughter, Angela Spring of Pomfret Center, Ct, two sons, John Ripi of Island Park, NY, and Peter Ripi of Farmingville, NY. Along with eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and cherished within our hearts and grateful for the life of memories she left with each of us! A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 11:30 AM in Most Holy Trinity Church, 568 Pomfret Street, Pomfret, Ct. A graveside service will be held at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY in the spring. Smith & Walker Funeral Home, 148 Grove St., Putnam, directed arrangements.
