To the Cournoyer family: I was greatly saddened when I heard about Charlie. I met Charlie through some mutual friends a few years ago and we had stayed in touch mainly through his frequent visits to the coffee shop I work at. Charlie was the kind of person that you always wanted to have around. His kindness and warm smile would just light up the room. He had this knack for genuinely wanting to know how you were doing and would always listen attentively, offering any comfort he could or sharing in your happiness. I am so truly sorry for your loss, words that I am sure don’t quite take away from the pain of a terrible situation, and I hope that you will all be able to find some comfort in the days ahead. “May every sunrise hold more promise, and every sunset hold more peace.”-Irish Blessing

I just learned last night about this tragic loss. My heart & prayers go out to Charles' family & friends. I had the pleasure of working with him over the years on his signage; and like his logo with the cross & paintbrush - he was a hard worker with a spirit one strives for.

Cournoyer Family: I am SO sorry for your loss!!! I was absolutely shocked today when I met Charlie's dad and heard this devastating news....I can't stop thinking about it and my heart aches for your family!! I knew Charlie from MoonStruck Cafe, where he has been a loyal and frequent customer for some time. I always enjoyed seeing him and making him a coffee, his favorite was Jamaican Caramel!! We often chatted about many different things.....he was so intelligent, sweet and easy to talk to!! Just having him around for the short time he'd linger in the coffeeshop always brightened my day!! He's an absolute sweetheart, and he will be very, very missed and never, ever forgotten!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

2 Corinthians 4:18
"For we fix our attention, not on things that are seen, but on things that are unseen. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts forever."
With great sorrow myself, and my family reaches out to the both of you. With everyday that comes I just pray that through the sufferings that you two have faced that both of you are aware that with the life that was blessed to you, that it will never go unnoticed, or unappreciated. There is a heartfelt meaning for all that comes, and with each day that still remains, I pray that the small things that were once lost may be again appreciated. The love of your child brought such a bond unworthy of the pain of this world. I pray for strength, and healing upon the both of you and your families. And to let you know you are not alone, that lives have been changed because of this.
Blessings,
The Hopkins
Know that in your harts the life of this young angel will live on in eternity, keep warm the feelings of joy and the smiles he brought, know that he will be with you always, keep strong and stay true to your faith, he will be watching you with love forever.
He will be ready to take your hand once again in peace.

Mr. and Mrs. Cournoyer and Katie, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Although I haven't seen Charlie...don't think I ever called him Chuck ;)...in many years, I would never forget his smile. He had such a kind heart and I am so sorry for what you must be going through right now. Please know that my prayers are with you. Elizabeth
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Mr. Charles In Charge was a one of a kind Genuine Christ-Crucified man after Father God's Own Heart and empowered by God the Holy Spirit of Truth. His walk with Our Lord and Saviour King Yeshua Messiah Christ Jesus was very contagious ❤️ that influenced you to walk close with Jesus too. Charlie was dedicated to his family the Cournoyers out of his love-walk with His Creator Abba Father Daddy Papa God and worshiped Chist Jesus in Spirit and in Truth. Mr. Cournoyer had many Spiritual Holy Spirit Infused Gifts and Two Gifts in particular that really shined brightly for Father God's Glory was The Gifts of Encouragement and Hospitality! Charles never uttered a word of gossip only words to encourage and help heal the broken hearted and words to lift up the downtrodden. I can still remember one of the very first times I was blessed beyond the curse to meet Charles as I was in a very low depressed and dark pit of dispear. It was towards the end of the Year of our LORD 2000 or at the beginning of 2001. My own brother Eric had died and passed into Heaven in March of 2000 and then my father passed away and into his Eternal Home in Heaven just 3 months later in June 2000. My mom Nancy and I with friends Julio and Fay started attending Pastor James Oppong's church at New Arising Christian Church on Route 146 in Sutton, Massachusetts. The beautiful Cournoyer Family were some of the very first Christians we met at Pastor Jimmy's and his Wife Susan's. My mom and I were broken vessels of jars of clay and Charles was right there to greet and meet us and to help encourage us with a great listening ear! Charles gave my mom Nancy a very warm and healing hug of love from above and his smile helped to lift us out of the bog of dispear. Mr. Jim Cournoyer was just as warm and friendly and I fell in love with Jim and Charlie's loving father and son relationship. You could sense their real genuine love for one another and Mr. Charles Cournoyer really loved and respected his daddy Mr. James Cournoyer. New Arising Christian Church had (and has) so much love and prayers to wrap us up in from Pastor Jimmy and his lovely wife for life Mrs. Susan as well as their family and their church family our Beautiful Bride and Body of King Jesus Christ! A few years later I was sensed the Holy Spirit wanting me to introduce my baby brother Daniel Neeland to Charles to help them grew in Christ together and to network leads and customers since they were close in age and in the same line of remodeling, building and painting business. But Praise the God of all Hope and Comfort and the Father of many Mercies from Heavenly lights as He has even greater plans for the Neeland and Cournoyer Families to introduce my baby brother Dan to Charlie's baby sister Katie around Christmas time over Mr. and Mrs. Jim and Judy Cournoyer's lovely home! It was just about love at first bite and first sight as Dan was invited over for a splendid Cournoyer home cooked meal and was introduced to Little Miss Katie and they started dating almost instantly but not without Katie's big brother Charles first giving his approval. As Miss Judy stated at Charlie's Life Celebration that Charlie would not let just any guy Date his baby sister Katie but thank Father God that Charles knew right away that Daniel-son was a good fit and perfect match for his little sister Miss Katie! All these many years later and a family of their own, we all still hold brother Charles Cournoyer life memories dear to our aching hearts with God's Promise that One Day and One Great Day Very Soon we will be reunited with Charles Cournoyer and the rest of God's true Sons and Daughters of Obedience who have placed their wills, lives, hearts and trust in the God of Redemption and Second Chances Vhrist Jesus and in His Death on the Old Rugged Cross of Calvary, in Christ's Resurrection on The Third Day and in His Ascension to Heaven on the 40th Day and who ARE yearning for Christ's Appearance and looking for His Second Return to His Earth! We Have Dear Christ Jesus' Own Promise in Hos Holy Bible That if you confess with your mouth that JESUS IS LORD and believe in your heart that GOD RAISED HIM FROM DEAD YOI SHALL BE SAVED!

I can't believe it's been 14 years, and it only feels like a year or two since you've been gone. There isn't a month that goes by that I think of him. I always remember my grandmother telling me when you asked her if going to my mother's funeral helped me, and she said absolutely, and she was right. To see you pass a month later was more devastating .So, I'm here to light a GREEN candle because it was your favorite color.
